Vincent is a Geneva based human rights advocate from France with over fifteen years of experience in the area of international human rights protection, primarily through UN mechanisms. Vincent has a passion and personal commitment for the rights of indigenous peoples, minorities and rural communities. He has worked with, supported and written about indigenous peoples’ rights in places such as Colombia, Pakistan, Bangladesh, India, West Papua and French Guiana. He worked with the Secretariat of the Working Group, which drafted the UN Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples, and he has provided trainings to human rights monitors and activists in all world regions.
In his homeland of France, Vincent was a candidate for the Greens party in local polls, and he’s also active in and supportive of local groups advocating for the protection of agricultural land, as well as mountainous, natural and forested areas under pressure.
